I want to get into Finance and Investment Banking, perhaps on Wall Street. I’m stuck trying to decide on a major for Undergraduate Study.
Would you rather see….
1. B.A in Finance from University of Connecticut- Storrs, Then MBA from NYU
Or
2. B.A in Economics from the University of Maryland-College Park, Then MBA from NYU.
I don’t know what undergraduate major and school to pick between these, Please Help!

choice b i believe is the route one would take if one wanted to be successful in ones anticipated career. If one recieved an MBA from NYU onw would be in great shape to get the job one wanted. However i believe one tends to favor economics for its broader outlook and one needs that to be successful in ones world. I hoped this helped one in the search for ones path to enlightment

If you want to get an MBA from NYU, then don’t get a BA in finance from any school. Go for an economics major. The MBA program at NYU rarely accepts finance majors.
